Ihr Verantwortungsbereich: Mainresponsibilities and tasks: Relevant experienceto support the Technical Experts within the existing team Team Leadership(Appraisals, motivation, technical arbitration, coaching, etc) Work closely withDevelopment Project Manager(s) to plan and monitor software projects(considering resourcing, task dependencies, tool requirements, day to dayreporting, etc) Some experience of SW project planning Working with Technical Experts to produceWork Breakdown Structures and estimates Experience of running multi-site developmentteams (ideally with an offshore element) Provide SWDevelopment interface to Customer Project Managers Manage the interface to minimise disruptionsto the development team Coordinate/collate responses as appropriate Manage ProcessImprovement activities Support activities to better align andintegrate, where appropriate, with Terminals development Experience of Continuous Integration andautomated component testing Implementation(Design, Code, Test) Expected to be a hands on implementer forsome of the time Good communicator inGerman and English Ihr Profil: TechnicalCompetence: TechnicalLeadership (Feasibility, Architecture, Design and Implementation, Mentoring) Experience ofTeam Leadership (Appraisals, motivation, technical arbitration, etc) Someexperience of planning software projects (considering resourcing, taskdependencies, tool requirements, etc) Experience ofday-to-day monitoring and reporting of software activities (for progress andquality issues) Thoroughunderstanding of the software development process (theoretical and practical) At least fiveyears experience of embedded software development on real time systems usingC++, preferably for radio systems Experience ofat least one mobile telecom standard Workingknowledge of MSOffice applications, debuggers, emulators, configurationmanagement tools Technical skills(desirable): Experience ofembedded software development for an embedded Windows platform Experience ofa variety of modern software development tools (e.g. UML Case tools) Experience ofdeveloping for an embedded Linux platform Personal attributes (essential): Enthusiastic,communicative and inquisitive individual Ability tointerface to all levels of the company Motivated byproducing quality work within planned timescales Customer(internal and external) focused Structured inhis/her working practices with a practical understanding of quality softwaredevelopment processes Flexible witha whatever it takes attitude Willingnessto travel internationally regularly, mainly Personal attributes (desirable): Experience ofworking in a small/medium size high tech company Commerciallyaware This position is remunerated with a monthly salary (gross) of 3000 to 5000 on a full time base.
